What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. We also use your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way. This policy covers both, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session / security cookies | Strictly necessary | Keep the site secure and working, and remember essential preferences. | Session to 12 months |
| apocapack:assessment | Strictly necessary (local storage) | Stores your assessment answers and score in your browser so you can revisit results. | Until you clear your browser storage |
| apocapack:events | Analytics (local storage) | Records anonymous interaction events, such as which mission packs are opened. | Last 200 events, until cleared |
| Amazon affiliate cookies | Third party | Set by Amazon after you click a product link, so any qualifying purchase is credited to us. | Set by Amazon (typically 24 hours) |
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles about you.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings — usually under Privacy or Site data. Blocking strictly necessary items may mean your assessment results are not saved between visits. Amazon's cookies are controlled through Amazon's own settings and privacy notice.
